Our Program Improves the Atmosphere for Learning Math, Science, and Reading
Classes have a profound impact on children - from helping them learn to appreciate music and becoming budding musicians to providing an outlet for creativity, expression, and the boundless supply of energy they have.
Our sequence of programs are:
Cycle of Seasons (ages 3 to 5)
Celebrate your child's love of nature and growing independence through musical activities focused on the seasons. Classes are designed to build attention and self-expression and including singing, chanting, moving, listening, musical games, exploring music instruments, creative movement, and storytelling.
Music Makers: At Home in the World/Around the World (from age 4)
Music Makers: At the Keyboard Years I, II, & III (from age 6)
Group Lessons
Our group music program can enhance many aspects of your child's development:

Experiencing the enjoyment of practice

Composing, improvising, and teamwork (ensemble)

Understanding music notation
Private Lessons
Enjoy the experience of one-on-one learning experience with our teachers for Piano, Harp, Guitar, Drums, Vocal, and/or Cello.
Participate in Certificate of Merit Program
The levels of the Certificate of Merit program are designed to help students understand the correlation between theory and performance in a progressive fashion. These levels comprise a structure that proceeds gradually from elementary school repertoire and basic musical concepts up through more advanced material. There are a total of eleven levels in Certificate of Merit: Preparatory through Advanced.

The Curriculum

Each level includes repertoire, etudes or vocalises, technical tests, ear tests, and sight reading

Repertoire includes pieces from all style periods: Baroque, Classical, Romantic, and Contemporary

Students progress at their own pace and move freely through the system

Development of overall musical literacy is assured through the inclusion of music theory (rudiments, harmony and analysis) and music history at each level
RECITAL
All students will participate on our annual big recital to perform on stage in front of family and friends.
