Participate in Certificate of Merit Program
The levels of the Certificate of Merit program are designed to help students understand the correlation between theory and performance in a progressive fashion. These levels comprise a structure that proceeds gradually from elementary school repertoire and basic musical concepts up through more advanced material. There are a total of eleven levels in Certificate of Merit: Preparatory through Advanced.
Follow The Royal Conservatory of Music Certificate Program of Music Study
Each level includes repertoire, etudes or vocalises, technical tests, ear tests, and sight reading
Repertoire includes pieces from all style periods: Baroque, Classical, Romantic, and Contemporary
Students progress at their own pace and move freely through the system
Development of overall musical literacy is assured through the inclusion of music theory (rudiments, harmony and analysis) and music history at each level
All students will participate on our annual big recital to perform on stage in front of family and friends.
